Taste the Adventure

The Coastal Wine Trail of Southeastern New England

Join Kingdom of the Hawk and the other 12 vineyards and wineries of the Coastal Wine Trail as you sip wine from the Cape and the Islands through South Coast Massachusetts, Coastal Rhode Island and Coastal Connecticut. The common thread through this region is the shared close proximity to the Atlantic Ocean and southeast facing coastline which captures the warm gulf stream waters in the summer and fall. This cool grape growing region features vinifera, hybrids and sparkling wines, and is collectively known as the Southeastern New England Wine Growing Appellation.

The Wine, Cheese, and Chocolate Festival is back for its 11th year, Saturday, June 15th at the Westport Fairgrounds. The festival will feature the 13 wines of the Coastal Wine Trail as well as local cheese makers, chocolatiers and other local artisans.

GOOD TO KNOW

  • Kingdom of the Hawk is not offering tastings. Wine is available by the glass and bottle, plus we offer a selection of CT craft beer and more.

  • Cheese, charcuterie, crackers and other nibbles are available for purchase. Additionally, in the warmer months, there will occasionally be a Food Truck on-site.

  • Guests are welcome to BYO food. No outside alcohol is permitted.

  • Reservations are for indoor tables only; we do not reserve any outdoor space.

A limited number of reservations are being accepted. Please email econnery@kingdomct.com to inquire. Reservations are not complete until you have received confirmation from our staff.

  • On busy afternoons we use single use plastic cups. Guests can purchase a logo glass for $3 to use while on premise and take home when finished. BYO glass is also okay. Sorry, we do not have any ice.

  • Kingdom of the Hawk hosts live music most Fridays and Saturdays and occasionally Sundays (see our Live Music & Food Truck schedule above). Additionally, our sister vineyard, Saltwater Farm has music and pop up events year round.
